This was from Today I took Noah out in the snow after Daddy & I went out last night to Walmart and bought Noah a new snowsuit and me a pair of Snow pants. They're not the best but they work. Noah had a blast in the snow today.

I took a few photos of Aaron & Noah and Noah did awesome cheesing it up for the camera. My boys are so handsome. Of course after taking photos with daddy for so long I jumped in to get a few and by that time Noah was done smiling for the camera and it just didn't work out. LOL

I threw my sister-in-law Angelica a baby shower for her soon to be Baby boy. (my nephew) It was a success.

I decorated and made these tissue paper balls for decorations.

Disneyland

I'm Not sure I've ever told you how much I love going to Disneyland. It's seriously such an amazing place when you think about how much went into creating it. I still feel like a kid when I'm there. Although it is a lot harder now having my own child and pushing the stroller around, bringing the backpack with all his stuff in it, a cooler with treats, stopping to change diapers, etc.... but when I see him so excited it makes it all worth it. My favorite part is the parades. There was only one at the time of year we went so we made sure to be there. It was awesome. We had went to Disneyland earlier in the year with my dad & step-mom but it was amazing to see how much Noah had changed since being there only months before. He would say Mickey Mouse when he saw him, his excitement on rides, it was just awesome. He even was tall enough to ride the Matterhorn which we did a few times b/c he liked it so much. Anyway had an awesome time.

Idaho Trip

We took a trip up to Idaho and because it was Fall they were having festivities at Linder Farms. What a fun place. Noah had a blast.

Camping Trip

We got together with Aarons family to head up to Duck Creek to go camping right before things started to get TOO COLD for it. Angelica my sister-in-law had never been so we packed up headed out for two nights in the wilderness. It was fun. Sometimes I wish we had a camper to sleep in at night and then we still could enjoy the outdoors the rest of the time. LOL... But we had a really fun time.

Noah's cousins Easton & Teagan came to visit Cedar City so we decided to get them together at the park to play together. Above I got them to race. It was so much fun to watch them run back and forth together.
Noah and Daddy spinning around in circles. Definitely not mommy's idea of fun. i would have thrown up but they sure seemed to have fun. Noah kept wanting to go and go and never get off.

This is our neighbor Crosby. He's older than Noah but Noah likes him a lot. It's so good to see Noah with other kids. There are so many friends for him to make here.

As you can see Noah really liked his Smore!!!! I had to use a lot of wipes to clean him up when he was done but he sure enjoyed it.

The next morning after Noah spent his first night ever in a tent. I love his expression on his face here. I think we'll have to go camping again really soon.

Trip to our Camping Site

We headed up to the mountains for the second time since living in Utah for our Church's campout. We were so surprised how taking a little bit a different route how the scenery can change here. The different type of trees which were so pretty, the grassy plains, it was really great.

Here's the road we took driving up. On the sides at points were cabins/homes. What a peaceful place to come.

There were a lot of sheep on this day. They must have been herding them but they were so cool to hear and see. We rolled down the windows so Noah could see them.

This was the first lookout going up the Mtn. You can see Cedar City which is the furthest away and to the bottom of this photo is a private neighborhood overlooking the city. It looked really nice.

Well we haven't been in Cedar City, UT. long and there are so many nearby sites to see so today we took a short drive to Duck Creek but along the way stopped to see some pretty views.

Alright so he's not off swimming on his own or anything but he sure did enjoy his first swim classes. Mommy took him to each class but on this special day Daddy came and went into the water with Noah. Noah loves his Daddy!!!
Here he is blowing bubbles. He didn't do this for Mommy at class but on this day he showed Daddy how it was done. TOO CUTE.
Each class at the beginning we would get in a circle and sing some songs which Noah Loved!!!

At the end of each class the kids got to go play. This was Noah's favorite part of swim class. What do you do? I mean how can you compete with a slide right?

Girls Night!!!

What a FUN NIGHT we had. These girls are all so much fun and we had a great time eating at the Olive Garden (YUM) and then heading to the Santa Fe to bowl our little hearts out. I must add here that I came in 1st place the first game and 2nd the 2nd game so I was pretty impressed with myself. I can't wait to go bowling again. It had been a long time since I had been. (probably before I had Noah) Thanks for tons of laughs and a great night out ladies.

Visit from Aunt Brenda.

My Aunt Brenda came to visit Las Vegas, NV. with some of her friends from college so we met up with her for dinner at Town Square. The last time I saw her I had just given birth to Noah so that was almost two years ago. So although this is not that long compared to what we normally see each other, it seems SO LONG. I wish I was able to go back East more often.

Feeling a little down tonight

So these are the nights that make me feel confused. Do you ever feel like you're compared to others? Maybe friends, or neighbors, or even family members??? Well I have been feeling that way lately. Like because everyone else has such an AMAZING life my life sucks!!! Because we don't own a huge house, or because our Annual Income isn't half of what others make, or because we don't have a retirement plan, and the list goes on and on. Sure when I grew up and even now I dream of all these amazing plans for my future and I hope to one day have 1/4 of everything I dream about.... BUT I feel like we've done pretty well for ourselves. I mean we manage to pay our bills, we have a roof over our heads, and Aaron has a job when so many don't. I just hate feeling like we (well I guess I) am not doing well enough. I do my best. That's all I can do.

Went to Cedar City, UT. for my Sister-In-Laws baby shower. After twin girls and two more girls that followed she is finally having a boy! We all thought she was done having kids but since we're at her baby shower it's safe to say she proved us wrong. I am excited for her and her family. Susan is an Awesome mom & David is an Amazing dad. Can't wait to see this new Budge Baby Boy!

Geocaching

We ended up coming in town to Cedar City again a few weeks later because my sister-in-law was having a baby shower. While we were there this time Debbie (Aaron's mom) asked if he could take Matthew (his little brother) and Jason (our nephew) Geocaching. We had never heard about it before so after Aaron did a little reasearching we found out that it is like treasure hunting. They have it all over the place where you can find these little containers of some sort and log that you've been there and then you bring some type of trinkett and leave in the container and you can take something from it with you. Adam one of Aaron's other brothers came a long too and they had a good time. I think it would be fun to go out and do too.

The Aquatic Center

We took a trip to Cedar City, UT. to visit some of Aaron's family that lives there and while we visited we took a trip to the new Aquatic Center. It was such an awesome place for kids. Noah wasn't too sure at the beginning but by the end we could barely get him out of the water.

Easter Egg Hunt at my Moms House

We went over to my Moms house for an Easter Egg Hunt for Noah. Aunt Jody prepared all the eggs and hid them around my moms yard for Noah to find. This was the first REAL EGG HUNT Noah had been on. The one at the park didn't really count because all the eggs were just laying on the grass but this one he actually had to look for the eggs.
Noah did a really good job at finding the eggs. We had to stand around the eggs a few times but he eventually would find them.
There were so many eggs. Seriously TONS!!! They were everywhere. I was all excited just watching Noah. He had such a blast putting them all in his Basket.

Jody actually got some eggs that were filled with Confetti and you could break them open. Here Noah was breaking the eggs on Daddy's head. I had never seen these eggs before but they were fun.

Easter Sticker Fun

So when we got to my Moms house for Easter Dinner my sister Jody had stickers waiting for Noah. He was intrigued when she put them on her shirt but as soon as Jody showed him they could also be put on his face Noah was all about trying to stick them on himself. It was pretty entertaining.

EGG DROP

We decided to check out the Annual Egg Drop this year. It's a free community Egg Hunt and man was it packed. Here are some photos from our morning.

This was after the Egg Hunt. You can say THERE WERE A TON OF PEOPLE. It was an experience to go but I'm not sure we'll be coming back here next year. Way too many people for me to enjoy.

We hadn't seen my Grandma Shervanick or her boyfriend Ozzy in quite some time and Noah has grown so much so we invited them to the Olive Garden which as you can see Noah loved my speghetti.

It was pretty tough trying to get a photo of the 4 of us. This was the BEST we got and it's not GREAT!!! But better something than nothing.

Grandma brought a bag full of Cookies for Noah. I had to tell her not to show them to him until after dinner. I'm glad I stuck to that b/c once he tasted one he wouldn't let the bag out of his hands. Let's just say, "He liked the cookies"

1st Trip to the Barber Shop

We were looking forward to the day when Noah actually had enough hair to take him to a Barber for the first time. I talked about how I would take photos and it would be such a great Scrapbooking page. Well this was the day. We got a little certificate from the barber being it was his first time there and it was tons of fun taking way to many photos of this experience. Here are just a few.

Here's the first photo I snapped. It's not great but it's the perfect way to show you how Noah felt about this new adventure. I think he was in shock actually just not quite sure where he was or what was going to happen. He had his eyes on the Barber the whole time he was getting his stuff ready. Never even thought about getting off of Daddy's lap.

Noah did suprisingly very well sitting on Daddy's lap while he got his haircut. I had feared that he would scream and want to get out of there but he didn't. He was very focussed on what was going on.

What a precious little angel he is. Staying nice a close to his Daddy who was protecting him from the scissors and telling him what a great job he was doing.

Wranglers Hockey Game

Nothing like going to a hockey game with some of your best friends! We had such a fun time hanging out with each other. Wish we could do it again but the Season is over! Maybe next year. We ended up going with the Dorsey Family, Jones Family, Grace Family, Ryan Bundy, & Richard Hansen. Travis as always was pretty entertaining this evening. He kept us laughing!

First trip to the pool in 2011

April 1, 2011 we went down to the pool with our friends the Jones' Family. It was a great day to go swimming and have a little picnic.

I had no idea in the below photo that my hat was taking out Aaron's face. LOL....
Noah & Daddy in the pool. Noah had totally forgotten what swimming was all about. He was clinging onto us pretty much the whole time he was in the water. I guess he forgot all about how much he loved the water last summer.
We had a nice picnic by the pool but Noah was only interested in the chips!!! Go Figure. Here he is sitting by Aaron enjoying some chips.
He was good about sharing with his Best Friend Xander though, so that was good and pretty darn cute to watch!
Below he straight up is stuffing the chip in poor Xanders mouth. Guess he was just getting too impatient for Xander to finish.

20-months old

When did my sweet little Noah get SO BIG? He is now 20 months old and I feel like he was just an itty bitty baby laying in my arms yesterday. Now he is out running around the neighborhood getting into all sorts of trouble! He's not saying much at all but I keep telling myself when he's ready to talk he will. (I secretly hope it's soon though) A lot of people have told me to enjoy it now b/c once he learns to talk he'll never stop. But I look forward to hearing his little voice and for him to be able to communicate with me instead of just whining and getting frustrated that he can't talk. Anyway, he loves to go outside and take walks with Mommy however he like to be the leader and a lot of the time when Mommy is ready to go home Noah isn't and that turns into a big challenge for me to somehow get him back home. He loves to pull around his new little plastic wagon or hold the mail key and go get the mail. He's the cutest kid ever and I love him to death!!!

Escape Artist

Took Noah out on a walk around the neighborhood and when we got to this gate at first he had fun watching the cars drive by but then he really got serious trying to figure out how to escape. It was pretty funny. In the end, he figured out how to get out. That's when Mommy had to step in.

I ordered this great jogging stroller/bike trailer for Noah to sit in. He actually really has enjoyed it. I was really good at using it all the time when it first came but I've been slacking off so I need to get on the ball and use it everyday again.

It was so hard to get Noah off the twirly ride above. He loved that thing and did amazing holding on all by himself as other kids fell off. He yelled and smiled the whole time. I would have been so dizzy on that thing.

Noah goes to Class

I take Noah to a class every Tuesday at the community Center near our house. He loves it and so do I. They really do some fun learning activities for the little kids 3 & under. It's a good chance for him to be around other kids, they sing songs, do activities, arts & crafts, play outside, & even have snack time. It's like a PRE-preschool class. After class is over they take the kids outside to play on the swing set behind the center. He loves it. Here are a few photos of him after his class one day.

Noah loves going to the park. He always has such a fun time and loves going down the slide. As you can tell by this last photo he hates it when it's time to go home!!! I usually have to carry him the whole way to the car.
